The first general meeting was held on Tuesday, September 16th at 6:40pm in the Pharmacy Building. Over 70 students attended and learned about the benefits of joining NJSHP and ASHP.
The next meeting, featuring Robert Fakelmann, RPh, MBA, administrator for patient safety and former director of pharmacy at Hackensack University Medical Center and Rutgers alumnus, will be on Tuesday, September 30th at 6:40pm in Room 115 of the Pharmacy Building. Mr. Fakelmann will be speaking about how he worked his way up in the pharmacy world and what he thinks the future of pharmacy holds.
On Thursday, October 2nd, the student chapter of NJSHP will have a table at the Residency Showcase representing the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. Over 33 hospital residencies from the tristate area will be present. The showcase is from 12-3pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Busch Campus Center.

On Tuesday, October 14th there will be a Residency Roundtable at 6:40pm in Room 115 of the Pharmacy Building. Currently 8 residents from 4 different hospitals will be available to answer questions about residencies in New Jersey. The four hospitals include Hackensack University Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, St. Barnabus Medical Center, and St. Michaels University Hospital and feature residents in both their PGY1 and PGY2 years.
On Thursday, October 30th students will be visiting pediatric oncology patients from 2-5pm at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick. We will be dressed up in Halloween costumes and making crafts with the children.

On Tuesday, November 11th, Dr. Ji-May Lo will be hosting a "Preparing for Midyear Workshop" at 6:40pm in Room 115 of the Pharmacy Building.
