NJSHP Councils

The New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists has five councils that help to serve its members. Members are encouraged to get involved in the council of their choice by printing and filling out the Council Involvement Form. Learn more about each council below.

Educational Affairs

The main function of the Educational Affairs Council is to coordinate the Society’s educational and informational programs.

Organizational Affairs

The main function of the Organizational Affairs Council is to coordinate, develop and maintain the Society’s organizational activities, and works to strengthen relationships with the Regional Chapters and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Professional Affairs

The main function of the Professional Affairs Council is to work to improve the professional and economic aspects of pharmacy practice.

Public Policy

The main function of the Public Policy Council is to monitor all legislative activities with potential impact on institutional pharmacy practice, and to coordinate the release of all publicity pertaining to the Society..

Technician Affairs

The main function of the Technician Affairs Council is to represent the interests and activities of the Society’s technician members.
